No. As much as I like Cain, let someone else have his shot at the belt. I'm sure Werdum and Cormier will be all over it.

No. And I'm not saying this just because i'm a JDS fan, if it was the other way around and JDS beat up Cain for 5 rounds and Cain ko'd him in a third fight I wouldn't think Junior should get an immediate rematch either.

    no.

but anyone who is paying attention knows JDS and Cain are 1a &1b in the HW division.

regardless of who wins, they will continue to meet.

but Werdum deserves next shot as the top contender.

    EDIT:

AFTER SEEING A LOT OF RESPONSES, I THINK MOST PEOPLE ARE ASUMING "4" IS MUCH FARTHER OFF THAN I DO.

HERE IS WHY I WOULD SAY SO:

Many people are saying a minimum of 3 or4 , but possibly more, or event he loser getting "shelved" or "pressured to drop to LHW".

by that logic, they BOTH would fight a total of 5-6 guys in between?

I don't see there being 5, much less 6 guys in line before the clamoring would get loud to see the 2 best fight again.

I JDS wins I could see it taking slightly longer because Cormier may try a shot.

so lets say JDS beats Werdum, then Cormier, and Cain beats Barnett and Browne.

IMMEDIATELY FANS ON BOTH SIDES WILL WANT TO SEE JDS/CAIN 4.

But lets say it get drug out to 3 a piece, and 1 of them also beats Overeem and 1 beats Schaub or whoever, how can anyone not thin it would be time for a 4th?

Im not a big fan of instant rematches,

BUT IM A HUGE FAN OF A GREAT RIVALRIES, AND WE HAVENT SEEN 1 IN A LONG TIME WORTH SEVERAL REMATCHES.

No. Those two are in a different league than the rest, but still, they have to fight other people too.

Swedish market is way smaller than the "Latino" market. UFC logic.

Hell no. They only way these 2 fight again in the near future if it is some kind of controversial ending. Split dec, draw, really bad decision, etc.

If there is a satisfactory ending, then that chapter is closed. They have a trilogy

A fourth fight between these two needs a couple of years cooling off time, if it ever happens at all.

That and Cain has to fight Bigfoot again to keep the streak going.

They'll meet again for sure. In my opinion, they should both have at least 5 fights before that.

Yes, just to be a contrarian.

I actually agree with the no, but just for kicks, just have Cain and JDS fight each other forever until one of them retires.

Why the hell would he get a rematch if he lost by KO?

Whoever wins if it's JDS or Cain they should fight someone else, then after 2 fights back at it again. :icon_chee
