Looking at the electoral map, it's clear america is really three separate countries forced to live under one national umbrella.
The people of the three different regions have nothing in common and no love or understanding for each other's ways or views.
The west coast which includes california, oregon, washington state, nevada and arizona should be a separate country. They have more in common with each other and they're mostly in favor of liberalism, immigration, environmental issues, energy independence and tech. they have a lot of trade with asia. Their president would be somebody like gavin newsome.
the midwest and south are a different culture completely. they care about religion, guns, conservative views of marriage and sexuality, they're against immigration and resistant to racial inclusiveness. their president should be trump
the northeast (including new york, nj, ri, mass, vermont, maine, PA, maryland, delaware and virginia) is also different. they are very liberal and have the intellectual and financial power houses. They also have a lot of trade with europe. Their president would be cuomo.
if the country were broken up in this way we would see some huge initial changes such as mass migration of blacks from the south and midwest to the west and east. but in the long run, I think we would have a lot less strife in our lives if we were to break the US up into these three separate sections, each independent of the others and autonomous where people can live their lives without a guy in LA or Newark having to abide by the same laws as some dude from nashville or fort worth.
