I'm really getting suspicious of Herb Dean reffing fights with coddled UFC draws.

I saw him give Rousey an early stoppage against a stunned Mcmann who was grabbing for a leg when he broke it. Now I've witnessed him turn a blind eye to 3 shots to the back of the head while Dustin was on the ground and instead of calling a break to check on the fighter and maybe take a point, he stops the fight while Dustin is clearly conscious after making the decision to fall back to guard.

The AC commissions really need to open an investigation up on Herb Dean and check how much money he's making to give these draws rushed stoppages in their favor. Enough is enough...

It's ok Mrs. Poirier. Your young boy will come back stronger.

I like Connor. In case you haven't noticed I am scrutinizing Herb Dean, Connor fought well. How about you guys write something relevant to the topic.

Early stoppage? Poirier was out.

How on earth was that stoppage early? Poirier was unconscious.

When you a massaging the mat with your face...you're pretty much out

Poirier was out, but the back of the head thing is too bad. Not intentional but you hate to see a guy KO'd by a shot to the base of the skull.

Wasn't early nor was it back of the head. Fail.

It wasn't an early stoppage. Delusions.

It was indeed a shot to the back of the head that changed the fight however it was not something that anyone can say was punishable or whatever since it was ducked into.

Arguable that other shots were back of the head shots.

Good win for Connor, unfortunate turn of events for Poirer who perhaps was a bit unlucky since he was essentially a loser in this fight because of a glancing blow...

Anyway that's the way shit happens sometimes....

u must be a big poirier fan to think there was something worng with the reffing in that fight

Lol. Main reason for wanting Mcgregor to win is the babies and their threads

the punch that hit the back of Poirier's head was not intentional, but it happened. That's what rocked him bad. I think it was Poirier's fault too, he exposed himself to that possibility.

OP clearly stated that the shots on the ground were to the back of the head, not the standing one. only one connected on his jaw during the GNP. the reading comprehension around here is abysmal.

The shot to the back of the head wasn't intentional, but it was the fight ending blow. Not a good ending to that fight.
Id like him to fight Faber. If he can get past him and/or Bermudez or Lamas give him a crack at the belt.

I could have watched a few more punches to dustin's head. back - front, whatever, just let conor punch the kid some more

That fight was big for Porier and there was lots of heat.

Porirer didn't complain in the least. At least I haven't heard anything.

It tells something, and those shots to the back to the head always happen, they're always to the side and sometimes slip to hit the back of the head, but aren't back to the head directly.
