Fight was announced on August 1st, 2015. Fight takes place 35 days later. While Mir didn't look his best, or Arlovski, I feel like 35 days notice is pretty short notice. This fight was slapped on that card last minute to sell tickets.

It's also that they were training partners for 3 years and knew each other's attacks.

I think if the fight had gone 5 rounds, we would have had an answer, probably by way of an exciting finish, and people wouldn't be as frustrated.
