That was probably the only time in the last 10 years that he has been healthy tbh. In the rematch he busted his knee and had to have a 3rd knee reconstruction in is career.

The fact that he came back at all is crazy considering how bad his knees are.

Injuries robbed him of his prime. His toughness and chin are what has taken him through his UFC tenure.

No, he looked worse. Machida was winning the fight up until the KO. Though Shogun won, his performance was much worse. Machida got overaggressive and ran into a counter.

Chuck was past his prime. Rua has been a mid level fighter in the UFC. He fought mostly cans in PRIDE.
