If he beats someone who is actually in the top 5 of the division in impressive fashion then I'm fine with him getting a title shot. But I highly doubt that will happen. His last win was against Villante, who is borderline top 15-20.

I love Shogun but DC would destroy him within one round.

However, I do not think that Shogun Rua is done with. I'm interested in seeing him fight Glover, Volkan, Manuwa, or possibly Saki.

Shogun's golden days are behind him.

I was recently thinking the same thing. It'd be nice to see Shogun get one last shot and put in a solid, extended training camp. I'm under no illusions: Shogun has been beaten several times and is far out of his prime. But it would be nice to see the old horse give it one last go. DC would be a huge favorite, but I wouldn't entirely count Shogun out in that fight.
