So I've decided to give myself 8 weeks to get into shape. I'm not gonna lie Im doing it for a girl. Anyway, to give you guys some perspective

Tale of the tape

Age: 25
Height:5'9
Weight: 180

I used to wrestle in highschool and back than like most guys I was in the best shape of my life. I went from 190 my freshman year to 135 my senior year with 4-6% bodyfat. I know I can get my weight down if I put in the work.

Anyway my goal is to aim for 145 to 150 in 8 weeks. I'm walking around 180 to 185 but I've eaten a lot of cap and haven't exercised in 2 weeks. Keep in mind I'm gonna have to try to work in working out with school in a month and work.

My planned exercise regime
1) use an ab wheel for 40 minutes a day (hurts like a bitch)
2) run at least a mile every other day
3) do push ups/pull ups/sit ups/leg raises/lunges/plyometrics

My diet plan
- lean meats
- not alot of carbs
- plenty of water, no soda
- no supplements

I don't know if I'll be able to lose the weight in 8 weeks but I'm gonna try

Good luck. Remember the legs are the base of the body, the feet are the base of the legs, and the big toe is the base of the foot. Don't neglect big toe strength.

Good luck mate. Be careful tho, trying to lose that much weight that fast with no strength training (i.e. lift weights bro) could result in some less than favorable body composition. Start off, then make adjustements. I'm just trying to give you a heads up. And don't expect any more than 2 pounds per week after your first couple. The body doesn't like losing that much that fast without doing some nasty shit

Good luck man. Don't burn yourself out in 2 months.

You're talking about skin loosening and stuff like that right?

Loose skin if he actually loses 40 pounds in 8 weeks. More importantly that to lose 5 pounds a week, he would literally have to starve himself (Seriously, your weight loss goal is about impossible in that time frame without hospitalization). Leads to the body panicking and holding onto the fat it has, and burning a greater percentage of muscle than it would have otherwise. I hope you get some good results, but dropping 15-20 pounds in eight weeks is still a serious accomplishment so don't be disappointed if you start going in this ballpark.

All this coming from a guy who went 5'8" 210 pounds to 155 both the wrong and then right way and then wrong again along the way. Now I've gained a lot back due to mental weakness, but I still learned what works, what doesn't, and what's impossible along the way. Just gotta actually do it again.

Makes total sense my friend that is 5'7 that used be 200 is like 180 ish now and it kind of looks like he has a six pack because is bell skin is loose.

My biggest issue for me has always been gaining weight and keeping it on so I can't entirely relate.

I want to get back to 157 and hopefully to the 160's on a low bodyfat percentage.

Currently at 146 and like 5'9 1/2

TS is your only goal losing fat or do you want to put on some muscle as well?

What's impossible for one is not necessarily impossible for another. Everyone's body is different, so start off with your program and tweak it/completely overhaul it as needed.

Let 'er buck!

Couple things to keep in mind.

- I work at Dunkin donuts so diet will be something I have to keep in check.
- starting weight is 183-184. I'm thinking of going for 2 pounds a week like you guys were saying my goal wasn't really practical or healthy. So my target goal will be 170-175.
