I need to get some feedback and some advice in buying new shin pads.

I am deciding between these three shin pads :

fairtex prostyle shin pads (SP-3)
Instep double padded protector

Fairtex Pro Style Shin Pads | MMA Industries

Twins Special Shin protection slim instep SGL-3

Twins Special Shin Pads (SGL-3) | MMA Industries

Fairtex competition shin pads

Fairtex Competition Shin Pads | MMA Industries

I am aware that these are all the lighter models of their respective brands as that's what I am looking for. I don't want clunky, heavyly padded shin pads like the top kings, kofightergear etc types...

Somme specific questions i have are, weather the Fairtex Competition shin pads have the same amount of shin protection as the other two ? They are super sleek and I like the ergonomical shape of them but I am not sure if they are as protective...

Thanks

I was debating between the first two, myself. Found a shop that carried both, tried them on and decided on the Fairtex Pro Style. They were a little more compact and I preferred the hook and loop system on them over the Twins. The Twins, however, are leather while the Fairtex are a synthetic leather. The Twins will cover your toes as well as the instep, while the Fairtex (on me) stop right where the toes start.

Haven't had a chance to spar in them, yet. Looking to maybe this weekend.

Fairtex Pro Style Are Always a Good Bet. Very Comfortable When Sparring Compared to others we have at our Gym

cant go wrong with any of them, id take the twins set if i had to choose

do the fairtex pro style wrap around you nicely ? Or are they less comformable. I have heard something about the fact that they are blocky and don't conform around leg well ?

Let me know what you think after your sparring session.

Thanks

So no one has seen or felt what those Fairtex competition ones are like eh ?

They look good but don't want anything that's too lightly padded....
