I started training kickboxing, about 1 month ago and i accidently kicked this guy on the knee, even though i had shin guards on it killed, now the bruising its pretty much gone but i have a small lump and everytime i kick the bag or the pads it kills like a m#@$%!
What can i do for this??

Nowt lad.

I've had many dints and chips in my shinbones from years of soccer and karate, and eventually they do clear up with a bit of love. Just ice the spot when it's sore - if its' muscular, do some light self-massage to try and release a bit of scar tissue. If it's a bone problem, you should see a doctor, if not, reduce the inflammation as much as you can.

Ice it after practice. Also, put on a shinpad when hitting pads/bags (When I train Muay Thai I normally don't wear pads to condition my shins, unless I am sparring, but when my shins are banged up or I have a fight, I wear the pads all the time).

thanks for the relies guys, appriciate it..

A bag of frozen peas in a must in my freezer... I put them in a over sized ziplock and use it over and over...

When I have to spar with out shin protection I get good bruises and they burn when you have to block or kick again... Oh well if it were easy it wouldn't be fun besides its better to have bruised shin compaired to bruised ribs :)
