Shields has better wins than GSP and beat Condit and Okami the same night!

Jake Shields in his prime, when he fought Georges was better than any other GOAT's opponent at the time they fought.

Georges still beat Shields even though he cheated badly. GOAT St Pierre bless.

He certainly does not have better wins

Pretty crazy how Shields never really gets mentioned anywhere. He beat guys like:
Hendo
Woodley
Maia
Condit
Okami
Lawler
Sakurai
...
Crazy isn't it?
That being said: GSP 》Shields

He's only behind the GOAT himself (GSP) and Matt Hughes, as far as WW goes, IMO. Usman is right behind him tho.

He's universally considered a top 10 WW of all time.

Pat Miletich and Jon Fitch are also not mentioned on a daily basis. I think TS should now open new threads about them. Why? Because he can (insert eye roll here).

To be fair, Fitch's career was way better than Pat's. I would place several fighters from the 90s above Miletich in the all-time rank

Which win is better than GSP's best wins exactly?

And given that GSP has a win over Shield's, wouldn't that be inherently better than anything on Shield's record, per your logic?

Dumb thread. Shield's is a solid WW. But GSP>Shield's in everything.

Everybody remember Lombard tossing him around like a ragdoll

He got help from the judges so many times. Approaching Diego Sanchez or Bendo level of luck on the scorecards

Lol at Silva fans mentioning the Shields fight to shit on gsp, but leaving out all of the blatant eye pokes from Shields. Your bias is quite clear

WTF are you talking about bias ffs respect yourself a bit

It's biased as fuck to say he struggled with Shields on the feet and imply it's because of Shields deadly striking, and not the fact that he literally blinded gsp with blatant eyepokes. Come on dude.

If you actually read the thread you'd see that i wrote that myself lol.GSP is clearly the better fighter but Shields clearly has better wins...

I agree with TS that GSP's win over Shields is better than anything Anderson has done. GSP is the champ with most wins over guys who are on the alltime p4p lists: Penn, Hughes, Shields

It's because of GSP being "scared" of Shields ground game, because of the TD threat, and because Shields was actually pretty good at managing distances and scoring with long range strikes like weak jabs and mid-low kicks.

You are a simpleton fanboy who can only repeat over and over again "bu-bu-but eye pokes", that's all the technical analysis you can deliver lol, and it fits your GSP fanboy narrative so you are fine with it.

Shields landed more strikes on the feet than just about any GSP tittle contender apart from Hendricks and for your information, Shields was very capable of outscoring in the feet the likes of Koshcheck, Fitch or Hughes. Noobs underrate him for being awkward and lacking power but he wasnt clueless on the feet.

Learn to debate like an adult without childish insults. He poked him so often and severely that he impaired his vision for the entire fight. That's not even up for debate, that's a fact. It really shows how biased you are against gsp that you can't admit something that clear and obvious.
