It's by far the worst backlash to a loss I've seen on sherdog.
Been a three day hate fest so far, flat refusal to acknowledge gassing, the idea Diaz destroyed him standing...there's a good reason why sherdog is thought of so lowly. Can understand not liking a guy but he ultimately brought attention to the sport when there has been a real lack of stars lately. Shame to read all the crap

People will still watch him fight. Dana gave him the platform to bring attention to the sport, just like Ronda and just like the next character Dana picks to put the marketing machine behind.

People seem to think that Ronda and Conor have put the ufc on the map, really Dana and the boys have learned how to market their product much better over the years to the mainstream. Ronda and Conor benefited from this.

These people are real characters and entertaining fighters, Conor has a good schtick going on and Ronda is the girl power hero. The ufc made them, not the other way around. You watch, if interest in Conor drops off there will emerge a new once ever athlete.

I have not noticed the hate being worse on Conor than Ronda. Ronda fans just either abandoned her or took it better.

I dislike Ronda and like Conor so for me Ronda fans were far worse.
