Sherdog P4P Rankings- Some Weirdness

After Anderson Silva and GSP were off the list, I really stopped caring. Not a bias thing, just it is all so arbitrary and meaningless now.

After the #5 P4P, I'd say the rest are irrelevant.

Hendricks/ Pettis have accomplished much more than Dillashaw. Hendricks narrowly "lost" to a GOAT, has been fucking people up in main event/ co main fights for some time. Same for Pettis, especially considering WEC background and his flashy style. Congrats to Dillashaw, shy is limit, but he hasn't done shit yet compared to ANYONE on the list

The P4P lists are "prioritization of corporate marketing" lists.

Hence why Barao was #1 according to DW last night, and now will be nowhere to be found (same for TJ!). Also why MM will be #1 once he fights and why JJ is #1 once he fights, etc. Also why Anderson was above Chris immediately after Chris beat him (when P4P is about who'd win when they're both the same weight and they were both the same weight and Chris just won). JJ will be #1 until the gatorade/nike deals aren't around. The apparent fact he is larger than most of his opponent makes no difference in the laughable "P4P" debate.

Seems fine. Barao being that high on the p4p list when had like 4 ranked wins and his best wins being over Faber was ridiculous.

Placing TJ is hard because he did just lose to assunciao like 2 fights ago.
