Dear club members, our evil-minded founder shadow_priest_x has finally decided to poochie from Sherdog.

As we mentioned several weeks back. Shadow handed over the club to me because he wanted to significantly scale down his time spent on Forums like this. Well, that time has come now. After 109 weeks in the club, he has decided to resign.

MusterX, Scott Parker 27... us guys are now the original grey-beards around here... and that Suspiria-mentioning scoundrel chickenluver as well I suppose, despite his hiatus.

I believe you mean @AndersonsFoot , my good sir.

Criticism of the Club-Ruler will not be tolerated in this new regime. I'll speak to the mods and have them re-instate your yellow-cards for saying that, my good sir! ! <45>

Top 10 movies based on true stories. This was very difficult. I excluded several movies that deviated heavily from the original story to make it easier.

1. Amadeus
2. The Devils
3. Raging Bull
4. The Elephant Man
5. Julius Caesar (1953)
6. Henry V (1944)
7. Ivan the Terrible
8. Alexander Nevsky
9. The Wolf of Wall Street
10. My Left Foot

I knew going in I'd have a difficult time choosing between Zodiac and A Ghost Story. I think both could spark a major discussion, more so than than the other 2. Either way, if you guys haven't seen those 2, no matter the result, they're both worth a watch.

With Anthony Hopkins and Mel Gibson? I liked it. Crazy true story. When I watched it I didn't know it was a true story, and when it ended with
them settling on that island and stranding themselves there, and the on screen text informing me that their descendants STILL live there my mind was blown through the roof.

The history of that island is pretty fucked up honestly. Check this shit out

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitcairn_sexual_assault_trial_of_2004

It's :eek::eek::eek::eek:phile island essentially, a :eek::eek::eek::eek:dise so to speak.

The former mayor that was convicted in 2004 is named Steve Christian, a descendant of Fletcher Christian, Mel Gibson's character in the movie.

The current mayor is Shawn Christian, son of Steve, who was also convicted of child rape in 2004. He was released after two years, got elected mayor in 2013 and reelected in 2016.
