Sherdog is insane, I still consider JDS one of the best HW's right now

Honestly one loss to possibly the best contender and people are already saying "LOL JDS HYPE TRAINS DERAILED" etc. Truth is JDS is definitely top 3 HWs in UFC and I think after this fight he's going to come back better than ever. Just look at his stellar record in the UFC, he's stomped through every single HW in the division, xcept for Overeem. Still doesn't get the respect he deserved.

Lol @ overeem fans thinking overeem has a chance vs either Cain or JDS. Truth is both Cain and JDS are tiers above the rest of the HW competition. Cain is a GREAT fighter and honestly I was very scared of this rematch because I knew Cain was not going to make the first fight a repeat. Respect to Cain but JDS is going to come back with a vengeance, you can count on it.

Having JUST punching power can only take you so far when your the champ. Eventually other skills will need to be used, I tried to tell people this for the longest about JDS.

The HW title will be passed around like a cheap whore for some time still. Cormier's the only guy I see with little to no weaknesses in his game to keep it for a while.

He was fucked sfter round 1 - that shot mustve gassed him hard. But his heart is amazing.
 
He is at worst the 3rd best HW out there right now and has a former win against the #1.

I think they are derailing the idiots who were already claiming JDS was GOAT for HW. Some people get way caught up when their favorite fihter wins the title and say stupid shit like that.

Not yet, but you just watch the floodgates pour open for all the critics who insist JDS's first win over Cain was MMA's biggest fluke - simply not true - and that JDS was never that great of an athlete and a striker to begin with. I imagine, like the rest of us, he's merely prepping in advance.

JDS is one of the best HWs but his hype train did get derailed. no one thought cain would put the hands on him, they thought he would get outwrestled. Cain did both

anyone has a chance but i'm talking in terms of overall skill i think cain or jds will win on any given day.. ofc if we were to make them fight 100 times then overeem will win a couplke times.
 
Lol, it's typical Sherdog. He is still the #2 HW imo. He would beat Overeem. Cain's style just phucked him up, he got out grappled and smothered. Obviously that huge right hand didn't help.
