I think Werdum takes it next go around. Besides Werdum improving his standup a lot of people tend to forget that nobody actually knew who JDS was. He was a relative unknown and Werdum had no clue he was looking at a future HW champ with top notch boxing.

Now a days he's well aware of JDS is and can game plan accordingly.

I'd currently favor Werdum against all the guys that previously beat him. He clearly turned his weaker point, the stand-up, into an asset, looks better conditioned and has better gameplans than ever. You never know with the heavyweights and I'm not saying that it would be easy, but I think he can retire as the champ and finally break the HW record for consecutive defenses.

I would say yes is possible depending on match ups. I mean really who here predicted Werdum would be champ and Arlovski would make such a good comeback. MMA opinion changes like the tides lol. I would like to see him face Werdum if he loses or Travis Browne.

I think you have Werdum/Overeem 2 confused with another fight bruh. Overeem won the fight on the feet and Werdum was forced into buttscoot mode because of it. It was shameful to watch honestly....

No, I have the right fight. The statistics reflected as much. Werdum won the striking exchanges but was penalized for flopping to his back. Essentially, Werdum would light Overeem up with combinations, then inexplicably fall to the ground (without actually taking damage, much like he did with Fedor when he baited him into his guard). He should've won the fight. Overeem had no effective striking whatsoever.
