That first reply was so spot on, too.. lulz
Oi oi have some manners and respect guvnaA brit telling people to keep an eye out for another brit?
I can't believe it!
^^^^^^^^^^ThisSure, but downplaying it only works if it's the SAME people hyping all the prospects up. If a poster doesn’t do it except for one guy and he hits a home run the one time he swings...that's pretty fucking impressive.
Not sure if this poster hyped other guys or not, seems to be a Brit that had specific insight into Aspinall.
The TS necro'd his own thread in the Worldwide Discussion forum because it was ten years since he made it.How did you "stumble" on a 10 year old thread though? Ya damn gravedigger

I just thought it needed more exposure because there isn't much traffic out in Worldwide.
And where is he now?Tom would get submitted by Stuart Austin 3 months later.
Well done guys.

With another 2 losses on top of that too.And where is he now?
Dipshit
And a championship belt. With another 2 losses on top of that too.
If they're throwing 1-2s and kicks you got yourself a contender.Relatively easy to spot heavyweight prospects compared to other divisions, they just have to be athletic and not morbidly obese.
People were also hyped about Gane when he only had 3 MMA fight.
And an opponent ducking him so hard that even his biggest knuckledragging nutswingers can't help but just flat out admit that he is a duck now.And a championship belt.
This thread isn’t about you though, it’s about @Wololo and his massive Nostradamus brain.Yeah, well, as soon as I started watching MMA that Fedor kid was like 25-1 and I was like, this guy's gonna be something special, and guess what?
That’s mad man. I love reading about that type of shit.
I was a shitty regional amateur MMA fighter back in the day, and was on a few cards where Tom fought, he was blowing through people with ease, at a very young age.
I started training BJJ with his dad, and got to know them a little in the early days, and saw first hand how many people saw his HL reel and ducked him instantly, across Europe. I also saw how hard he trained, with no fights on the horizon. I believe he was around 16 when I came across him, I'm quite a bit older and I was pleasantly surprised to see how mature he was about his MMA training and career. His dad Andy deserves mad props for keeping him on the path, and training him, keeping him going when it looked pretty hopeless back then when he couldn't get any fights.
I knew it was a matter of time before he was found and put on a big stage, now he's doing to world class MMA fighters the same thing he did to regional amateur /pro MMA fighters, it's insane, and I couldn't be happier for him and his dad, genuinely two of the nicest people I've met in my MMA journey.
I thought I'd mention him on here to get him some recognition back then, as I hadn't seen a single thread about him back then.
^^^^^^^^^^This
Speaking as someone who has made several failed hype train threads myself, I found this one to be very impressive.
I once made a thread about the potential of The Beverly Hills Ninja. It did not age well.
