nah.
Amanda is a brown belt in Judo herself, so not as easy as she did against girls who never fought Judo.

She was legitimately trying to exchange in the pocket with Nunes

Who the fuck told her that would be a good idea?

Yeah, because the clinch was working when it got stuffed twice and her head got knocked to oblivion.

she was rock, easier said than done. Amanda push her off every time she tried to clinch, it was obvious.

And a black belt in the much improved art of BJJ, which owns Judo 9 times out of 10.

Too distracted from media obligations to stick to her gameplan

Clinching was the most obvious thing she could have done. The guy at your local MMA club could have told her to not start off with it.

What else can she do? You can't clinch someone who is keeping distance and hitting her square on the face lol

She's seemed so weak and unable to physically dominate or grab/toss anyone since the new testing policy.. I'm not saying anything but I'm just pointing out. Since USADA she's only fought and done OK against betche, and..well.. bethe is bethe.

Hard to get inside when you are standing stiff as a board, not moving your head off the center line, etc...its not a video game where you just flick the right stick to initiate a clinch.

It's too bad her knees are shot...tonight would have been the night for a more wrestling-centric game if she had it.

So standing in the pocket against a vastly superior striker is an understandable reaction for you? Log off kid lol

*should have

Answer the question then genius? Does Ronda have a nice double leg? Perhaps some Greco? Nope all of her takedowns come from the clinch which you need to strike to achieve against someone who's keeping range. So how else does she do it? Its a fight she was going to have to exchange at some point.

Oh so you mean all of those months of preparation and she couldn't think of a strategy to avoid exchanging in the pocket in a multi faceted combat sport...

Jesus fucking Christ. It all leads to one thing: shit performance and again poor preparation

She has millions and sources to get great coaches and she didn't

And no shit you exchange but you don't stand flat footed, chin up, and swinging slow ass hooks against a faster striker that's much more dynamic with power in her hands.
