I know theres some Gen X'ers here.

Remember being in a hotel and wanting to go to a restaurant? I was probably like 20 and we had to use something called the "yellow pages". Look that shit up under "R" find one then flip to the back and use an acutal map to find out how to get there. Just reverse directions to get back.

Back in those days any information came from an actual building with actual books in it.

On demand porn? Fuck outta here. Nothing was on demand.

I had to swipe right or left in person, if you know what I mean.

I would of killed to of gotten my hands on a legit playboy!

It wasn't until I was 15 I first got my hands on a shitty uk FHM.

A boy at my school returned from a vacation with family in France. He bought back a French playboy and there was a crowd of about 30/40 boys trying to see it!!

Almost caused a riot!!

Maybe it's different in South America, but at 11 years old my middle school buddies had access to VHS porn.

I do remember convincing my mum I was in to cars and having her buy me these two car magazines occasionally. They always had one or two racy topless photo shoots of girls with the cars inside. Don't think she ever thought to look at them not being in to cars either lol!

I remember going to ECW events sponsored by bud light and getting a bud light poster that featured Carmen Electra in s bikini

I'm 34 so the I guess the internet was around most of my life but we didn't get it in my house until I was in HS.

In terms of school it was going to the library to do book reports.

I think my parents had a subscription to the Better Business Bureau before the internet and that was like the original version of Yelp

This was the best way to watch porn

Remember the phones attached to the wall? I wasn't a teenager then but my sister was and she would sit/lay on the ground talking to her friends.

Remember the rotary type phones? Lol. My grandma had one of those. You stuck your finger into the number then slid it to the top a plastic piece I guess did so many clicks to equal 9.

Shit...remember payphones? What if your phone dies now? Your fucked.

Universe: 8 billion years.

Planet Earth: 4,5 billion years.

Modern man 200,000 years.

Civilization: 3000 years?

All numbers are estimates.

Internet: 23 years.

Somehow, someway, we survived without it and I think we’d be totally fine without it.

But I do enjoy my online games.

If you get stuck playing a video games, well shit, tough luck figure it out. And fake game rumours are rampant, Shen Long a secret character of Street Fighter 2.

Hard to settle fact based arguments without internet.

Passing around porn magazines.

I'm on the cusp between Gen X and Millennial. I didn't use the internet until I was 13 in cyber cafes and places like that. I didn't have internet in my home until I was 16. Didn't have high-speed (DSL or anything faster than dial up) until I was in my early 20s. It seemed so incredible when it finally came, though.

I remember that rumor. You had to go perfect every round. At least that was the version I heard.
