Good evening resident Shookologists, arm chair armbarrers, and other assorted Sherbro people. Tonight I present a chance to introduce those unaware of Sharaputdin to you, and for anyone to enclose your predictions for the UFC career of Shara Bullet before it even gets off the ground for future bragging rights. One of the Middle-Eastern-Europeans I've been most excited about, a heavy hitting Dagestani Lethwei (Burmese boxing where headbutts are allowed) fighter, Shara should be a treat for
types who like seeing a big violent man hitting people with kicks that sound like baseball bats. In a case that is different than most fighters these days, Shara has also opted to fight at the heavier weight class of 185 instead of 170 where he has confirmed he can cut to, as he feels the division has more challenge (wipe the sweat from your brow, Leon).
Shara is a Eurasian Champion in Lethwei, 18-2 in K1, and a Russian Muay Thai champion.
Shara's style will be a joy to people who haven't watched him before, as he throws everything, ffrom all angle, and I mean that quite literally. Fluid combinations that he himself says he "doesn't see coming", Shara is a very "flow state" fighter, but less in the Anderson Silva "fluid like water" state and more of a "Lawn mower strapped to my chest so people are running away" flow state, a whirlwind of cutting and concussing blows always thrown with ill intent and never to impress a judge.
From an article about him "How often do you see a fighter throwing a high kick to opposite high kick combination with almost no telegraphing?
I see Shara going far, top 5 at the very least. Clinch wrestlers are going to have issues with him up close, and he'll definitely be the only guy throwing hook and axe kicks on the regular so I imagine he may become susceptible to guys that can shoot from far out like Marvin. Hoping one day to see him and Periera go at it if Alex doesn't move up to 205, all in all no matter how close to the title he gets, I'm sure Shara will become a fan favorite very quickly, a violent prizefighter stereotype made walking sans an eye. Here's just hoping the commission doesn't make a problem for him like Bisping thought they would with him, but after Nick Newell had a successful career, I don't even know what the justification is for not letting a fighter with an impairment in the cage of his own volition.
"I'm like a modern Barbarossa."
"I'm here to take their money & fame!"
