I think this would be a great fight. Burgos is a big FW at 5'11 with 75.5 inch reach, so he can match Zabit in size, and he has great TDD with very dangerous striking.

He did lose his last fight against Kattar, but before that he was undefeated and on a nice win streak in the UFC.

Never mind. I'm not sure anymore lol. I didn't notice that His tweet says ufc 230. Not sure if he feels the same way about ufc 228, I just assumed he did.

fucking aye. Guess we'll see what happens.

    Burgos is solid.

Good matchup, but I'm still illegally streaming this card.

Yep. I just read his tweet closer, though, and he has hashtag ufc 230 on it. Clearly he doesn't understand what was being asked of him lol. Still would like to see him step up.

Burgos has some great movement and hands, but I just don't think his game is diverse enough yet to be elite. Moicano was able to chew up Kattar with leg kicks from the outside without eating many counters, while Burgos took the approach that he could technically out-brawl Kattar (plays into Kattar's style if you pocket-brawl with him).

Zabit is not to be fucked with for your comeback fight after getting slept in a back-and-forth war, might want to take an unranked fighter coming off a loss instead.

I'd much rather see him fight someone like Mads Burnell or Chas Skelly, they are both talented guys coming off of L's that have something to prove and would make for good style match-ups.

If they can't get a top 15 to do it. Burgos wouldn't be bad at all. Would be a scrap.

You got any realistic suggestions for one that will fight on 2 weeks notice against a guy barely ranked in the top 15?

He's exciting. Took him a couple fights to change his name from that guy who cut his hair between rounds

he's a solid, and has what seems to be unlimited cardio.

I like this fight, would tell us a lot about both guys

Don't like the idea of Burgos going on a 2-fight skid, but that is FOTY material, no doubt.

Ranking isn't everything zabit got a lot of hype most higher ranked guys should want to beat him down and get that momentum Lamas especially can't be picky either, but Jeremy Stephens has taken lots of these fights to get back after losses. It's not unrealistic at all.

Those are pretty much the only two guys out of 14 guys ranked ahead of Zabit that i can realistically see taking the fight. I don't really like zabit's chances of getting a ranked fighter on such short notice, but i hope he does.
