Set a max posts per day...

I have seen alot of postwhoring lately. Noobs joining this month or last month already blue and purple belts! Ive seen these noobs with 40-60 posts per day or more. This is ridiculous and must be stopped. Its not right to see someone with a join date of Jan 2006 and already 1500 posts. Set a max # of posts you can post in one day, and you cant carry posts you didnt use over to the next day. I think 20 per day would be fair, use em or lose em. What do you all think about this?

normally i'd disagree with that desire...but on a site with 40,000 people with a moderator shortage, i can see that helping to a degree. its a constant free-for-all that needs some limits set, even if just on a temporary basis

I don't see what the problem is. If they are spamming the forum, they will surely get noticed. Some people have boring dayjobs and post all day long.

Sorry, but this rule would not be fair to the people who actually make quality posts instead of meaningless +1's about how they just had a dream of fucking Janet Reno.

Moderators just need to do a better job of yellow carding trolls.

Better yet....send obvious troll threads into the Wasteland. Ender once started a thread of his in the Wasteland, and the same people who love bashing him barely even touched it.

That's how you see how important the +1 is to a poster/troll.
