Kinda curious

Is there a pain factor ? is it frightening (from not knowing where you are ie disorientated) or you dont
feel a thing because all of the adrenaline.

You basically won't be able to remember it for the most part. There is no pain due to the adrenaline but headache/concussion after the fight are no walk in the park

I have knocked myself out from falling before, didn't feel nothing, just remember tripping and then waking up with my friends and cousin standing next to me saying are you ok and pulling me up. didn't have a headache after, just had a big bruise on my face and arm. they told me I was out for about 30 seconds

That was my experience, when i got Koed from a fall.I didnt have anyone around though,so i dont know how long i was out,but it probably wasnt too long.

I've been KO'd a couple times playing hockey.

Both times I popped up right away, thinking nothing happened.

And then everyone told me I was out cold for 20-30 seconds.

I once woke up in the middle of the night to take a piss, and I ended up getting knocked out and woke up on the floor with piss on my boxers. I felt extremely dizzy, ran back to bed and went back to sleep

it's like going from semi intelligent to full retard in a split second

Is this from experience or arm-chair psychology?

I was KOed twice and the pain was nothing compared to the pain when you are hit badly in the solar plexus or a good hook to the liver.

Took a baseball to the back of the head on my way to first base once. Felt the ball hit and then was on my knees with 15 people standing around me. Full time displacement. Was crazy.

Had a headache but kept playing. The next day I couldn't read at work (which is troubling as I could before), went to the ER and was diagnosed with a moderate concussion. Took it easy for a couple of days and was fine. Crazy to look at a computer screen and not understand the words though.

Not painful at all, you just wake up.

There might be soreness on your jaw afterwards though.

Kinda like that dream you had last night that you don't remember

Got decked in the ring a couple of times. Best way I could describe it was I was standing one minute, the next second I'm on the ground trying to get back up. Didn't know how I got there. lol. There was a high pitched ringing sound in my head. Not fun.

Not a KO, but something similar. A strange head kick... I remember feeling fine, no sound, warm, light... I was feeling fine, I guess... I was falling like slow motion.... I could feel that I was going down, hit the mat, and then the image came down with me... It was like a delay from what i was seening. Aster that I stood on my knees, and all of a sudden the sound came back, the guys in the gym were like, dude are you OK? ... I didn't feel no pain at all. The coach told me that the next day my head will hurt bad... But it didn't..... That's the only experience of this kind of KO I ever had....

I was in a bar and this huge bouncer threw a guy down and then started stomping on him. I threw a full Nelson on the bouncer and he said "ok" - I let him go and he swung around and nailed me with a right with his full weight behind it. All I remember is seeing him turn around and then being on the floor staring up at the crowd. No pain at the time or after. The next day when I was in my office (I was a law professor) I hear a knock and the dude walks in and apologizes (he is a law student) and I say - "Look when I walk into a bar, whatever happens, happens. I was just worried about the guy you were stomping on. No problem. I took my chances." I was kind of a wild and crazy guy in my 20's.
But - to cut to the chase - in my case no pain at the time or after.

I sparred many times but i was lucky not to be KO'd hard at any of them. My feelings after someone throw me on my butt ( koed me but without losing conciosnuess [ hard word sorry xD ] ) :

Desorientation
My hands and legs felt like from iron ( so heavy )
I couldnt stand right ( legs were shaking badly )
And when i was going back home after sparring like that i was very dizzy? Yea i think its a good word.

And my head hurted me for something like 2 days. I box a little bit if anyone asks. I'm not even good amateur. I just like to train thats all.

I hope Mir will be ok. I like the guy.

Wouldn't know, I'm 6'8 285lbs with 7% body fat like everyone else on SD.

I do the koing
