This is an important detail.

The main excuse for the delay is that John ordered Romero's corner to remove the vaseline. This is cited over and over as the reason the 3rd round was delayed.

However - Romero did not meet the bell prior to Big John coming over.

I'm curious how long that time actually was. Is there a complete gif or video of this transpiring?

Dana (in the presser) said he got an extra 28 seconds.

I'm also curious about this claim regarding an "official instructing him to sit there". The dude could barely understand and comprehend anything Joe was saying in the post fight interview, yet I'm supposed to believe he heard an official told him to sit there inbetween rounds?

I think it was a cop out and would also like to know how long he sat on that stool after Big John started to prep for the next round.

I think he understood everything just fine, i also think his corner understood everything just fine. Sometimes it's convenient to act as if...

He was on the stool for about 17 extra seconds, total of 28 seconds extra to start the third round.

Don't see why it's such a big deal, the only thing Kennedy did in that fight was because he held the inside of the glove so Romero couldn't defend or move out of the way.

Count it yourself.

Yes he got extra time but it wasn't because he was sitting, the vaseline was what caused the delay.
