Two exciting stand-up fighters with the ability to throw flashy, unorthodox attacks and unique ground games. Also both fighters know the winner should get a large step up in competition. I think Pettis takes it but Caceres has made a career at 135 by winning as the underdog.

Bantamweight version of Dodson vs Elliott maybe.

Watch that btw Great fight.

Nah, people like slug-em-out wars, and I don't see these two being in one of those.

This should be a great fight, Bruce's fights always keep me entertained.

People like armswinging and blood, so probably not.

Hopefully it turns out to be an awesome fight, i like them both, dont know who to root for.

Any fight has the potential to be FOTY..

What are we talking about here?

Not to sound emotional, but the way Bruce Leeroy has turned things around since TUF is pretty inspiring. That said; I think Pettis might be able to find his chin. Granted he has good recovery, but Caceres was dropped by Delorme, who carries less power than Pettis. I really wanted to see that Gagnon fight.

Interesting to see where Caceres would stand ranking rise if he beats Pettis. He was robbed against Figuroa, so imo he's unbeaten at Bantamweight.

Caceres an exciting stand up fighter? Cmon son. The guy has less power than Cody McKenzie in his hands. He has a somewhat entertaining ground game tho but thats about it.

I just can't see this being a FOTY candidate TS, that would be pretty crazy. A FOTN? Sure Yeah, that sounds plausible.

Bruce LeeRoy gonna derail that train but prolly not FOTY. Trying to predict FOTY is pretty dumb actually.

FOTY, so far, is Bones/Gus when context is considered, imo.

bruce lee would destroy him

Bruce Lee would beat both in my opinion , also I never understood this "Bruce Leroy" Nickname .. Untill I saw a thread which featured an Audio Interview with Alex , basically the Name is from a Little Known Film called "the Last Dragon" and featured a Young Mixed Race Fighter Named Taimak who was himself inspired by Bruce Lee .

That's where Alex got it from , I don't know how he heard about it though . I've literally never heard of the film but after research it looked good . And the main Actor Taimak has a real Martial arts Background and still looks in really good shape for his age.

I might Buy the DVD one day.

Also Alex aka Bruce Leroy wins this fight via workrate , size , skill and experiance.

Are you kidding dude or am I just drunk and guillable. Enter the Dragon is a goat film and a classic. Watch it ASAP, how could you not have heard of it before =[

Just because he doesnt have KO power doesnt mean he isnt fun to watch.

I dont like flashy moves that dont do shit. For me fights are exciting when you have the feeling that it can end any second, on the ground or on the feet or when a fighter is really superior in certain aspects of the game. Fighters like Bruce Leeroy, Court McGee and Cody McKenzie are the epitome of mediocre and would probably have trouble succeeding in organisations like Bellator. But for some reason these guys, who will never be champions or have many exciting fights continue to stay in the UFC, which supposedly houses the best fighters in the world
