If the ref hadn't stepped in Lewis would have most likely just gotten dropped again straight away, I mean Sergei is landing shots on him and Lewis just springs straight back up and I'm sure he would have ate another big hook from Sergei had the ref not stepped in, not the best looking stoppage but what was Lewis going to do in the next 5 seconds other then get lit up and dropped again

Lewis was hurt and he was going to get further hurt.. when he got clipped he looked stunned and began peddling backwards , the Russian was carving him up and was on his way to making a nice carven tabled out of Lewis.. that Russian has a crazy reach, sharp striking, he’s a muscular big man with some good technical striking.
