If Tribe beats Beasties and reaches the finals, would you say Tribe was the biggest upset of the tournament?

I love Tribe and want them to beat Beasties, so beating NWA and Beasties back to back would be fucking awesome.

Especially since pretty much everyone from the earlier threads thought it would be NWA vs. Beasties in the semis, and it would be a toss up to get to the final.

ATCQ wasn't even mentioned in those discussions, I love it.

    Lets go Tribe!!

Award Tour is one of my favorite songs of all time. This is an easy pick for me.

Their biggest hits are NOT their best songs..

TCQ has the "cool" factor.. But Beastie Boys just did too much for too long.. Bestie Boys said things five years before other people said them, also.

Side note, Q-tip and BB worked together on "get it together" (I think) on ill communications..

I also don't think "the Roots" should have been in this particular tourney, and 'Pharcyde' got jobbed..

If you can't immediately name 5 ATCQ songs, you should go with the Beastie Boys..

I have never really connected with Beastie Bots in any way besides Sabotage and that awesome video. I have listened to a lot of Low End Theory & Midnight Marauders however so i went with ATCQ.

The original bracket is kind of missing some great ones to be honest. Where the hell is Gang Starr? Where is Pete Rock & CL Smooth?

They are duos, this is for groups. And yes EPMD started as a duo, but transformed into a group.

Definitely, that's my next one. There are so many great duos (as you mentioned Gangstarr, also Mobb Deep, Eric B. and Rakim, Smif-N-Wessun, Beatnuts etc.).

All of the fake Hip Hop fans born in the 80's who liked "Brass Monkey" when they were 6 are going to come in and skew the poll.

ATCQ by a long, cold, nautical mile

Well then I certainly hope RBL Posse is included in that one
Im certain theyll lose in the first round because this place has biases but they are legends in the west
They sold over 100,000 CDs out the trunk with no radio play and before the internet when it was strictly word of mouth advertising
    Thats a big fuckin deal

ACTQ isn't snooty hipster bullshit, it's a celebration of amazing music.

Beastie Boys are awesome, one of the greatest groups ever. They don't have shit on Phife and Tip though.
