So I think Pantoja was telling the truth that he defeated him in a training session years ago.
Probably, sparring is often broken down into grappling sparring and stand up sparring. It's very doubtful O'Malley got the better of Pantoja in grappling. So I think Pantoja was telling the truth that he defeated him in a training session years ago.
He stopped 9 out of 15 TDs, and he stuffed 5 out of 5 in the 3rd round. It was really just rounds 2 and 4 that he got held down for the majority of the round.I honestly want to know the type of drills they were doing to prepare for this fight. Seans takedown defense was barely serviceable in there.

Training sessions mean nothing. Look at Volkov vs Pavlovich lol
