Other than the Chris. Nick put up the second best performance by not falling into Anderson's counterstrike game. I dare Nick gave better in the clinch than Silva, which was pretty surprising. When they did engage Nick was bringing it.

so he put in the second best performance by doing almost nothing? makes sense.

Chael did way better than Nick. Not even close.

Chael did significantly better than Nick.

Hell. Lutter was more impressive.

I believe the fight was closer than what the score cards said. Anderson definitely still won but yea I could definitely see how this would be the second best performance against Anderson.

I don't understand how getting finished is better than going all 5 rds

Nick was fighting smart and not leading much, but if he could have snuck more punches in it would have been close.

at no point in the fight was nick in danger of getting finished or not being able to continue

He lost all of those rounds. Chael won 5 rounds against Anderson.

Sp, yeah, winning rounds is better than not winning rounds.

And at no point in that fight was Nick winning.

which is the difference between him and Chael.

It was fun, but frustrating. If Diaz wasn't so timid on some of those openings, he would have easily out struck Silva. But, it didn't happen. Silva definitely won, but I don't think either fighters were on their A game tonight. Definitely props to both though for the respective reasons of injury & time off / goat / size.
