I am training for a fight on sept. 22 and dont' have any good kickboxers in the 185 - 220lb range.

I am willing to travel to your gym and pay day to day to train there.

Here's a video of my last fight to gauge my skill.

Please help.

Nice fight. I know you are looking for partners and unfortunately I can't help you there as I am on the other side of the country. Question for you. Are you naturally a southpaw? I notice you fight righty but you don't use a lead hand jab very much and you tend to use your straight right like a jab to set up some of your kicks.

You have a really strong technique and nice form the thing I would want to work on if I was your coach is the left jab and a little bit on your footwork. Your conditioning looks really good.

Congratulations ! Great job on the fight! Good luck next month! I hope you find a body to punch soon.

No I'm not naturally a southpaw.

I usually jab a lot. This was a strange performance for me. I didn't really use my punching very well. I usually sit down on my punches and hurt my opponent with my hands and kicks, but this time I only threw quick, weak punches to set up my kicks. I don't know why.

there's a guy i know i sometimes get together on saturdays within the weight class you are looking for.

not sure if you can make it out here on saturday mornings since it's around 3 hr drive from seatle

Nice left hooks and low kicks dude.

Lol at the commentator.

Mike did you post this thread also in ATF? If not you should.

hey michael, where do you train at? i'm originally from puyallup but have been in the bay area for a few years. started training at fairtex recently, but have been pondering a move back to either portland or seattle again. i know portland has quest, xtreme couture, impact, etc. all in the area, wondering what seattle has. i know about gracie barra, but looking for a more well-rounded school, not just jits.

I train at AMC kickboxing and pankration in Kirkland.

Too far away, would love to spar with you.

On a side note those commentators on your fight were HORRIBLE. Your hero is "miro Crocop"? (hehe that guy had it all wrong, plus he called it MMA not kickboxing).

also. . . craigslist?

course you might end up with some fucking nut-job. . .

Mike also has a problem that he's usually surrounded by bag bullies with sever cases of chicken-shititis.
