Sherk was pretty good at the end of his career imo. Had crisp jabs and combination punches, despite his short reach he connected often enough. Tyson Griffin fight was a fantastic fight, same with Frankie Edgar, both mainly striking but had ground elements as well. He had hell of a chin.

Its true that Sherk had good boxing basics. But he was still pretty stiff although its weird that Nick thinks he is the only guy that beat him since Joe Riggs straight up outboxed him better than anyone.

He was saying that he did more damage to Sherk but they scored it against him because Sherk was always coming forward, and that he thought the reverse happened tonight so he's frustrated with inconsistent judging.

Not really. I heard it in the kitchen grabbing some food. Didn't care for the post fight speeches after that sparring match.
