Scott Coker says Frank Mir gave thumbs up on Roy Nelson fight, loser could get cut

Not a UFC shill. What does CM punk and a scrub who got his ass kicked(and kicked Kimbo's ass) in the UFC over a decade ago have anything to do with this thread or the fact that the Kimbo fight and the over the hill dinosaur fight were pathetic embarrassments. Dada nearly died which would've been the worst thing in the history of MMA. Also, the fact that Bellator has had terrible ratings pretty much ever since. Some of you dorks get so weird and defensive when people call out some this garbage. I've done nothing but mock Cm punk, Dana, the current fake BMF title, etc. It's okay if Cokers shitty fuck-ups get called out, princess. I've been watching and supporting Bellator since the beginning it was way better under Rebney. Cry some more.

What a pathetic clown. It was already explained to you why Dada 5000 vs. Kimbo was booked; it did way better ratings than most UFC cards on free television.

If you're too dumb to grasp that, there's nothing more to say.

And relevance of the UFC, with its greater resources and cash flow, putting on even larger embarrassments is that every MMA promotion does it, and there is a reason for it.

Again, if you're too stupid to understand (and considering your love of Bjorn Rebney, you probably are) that, there is nothing we can do. There is no cure for mental retardation.

They should cut the loser. Probably the winner too if he looks bad or it's boring.

Maybe that's the reason their ratings have been so terrible since then. That embarrassing shit had to of left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. Still a dumb move IMO and god awful representation for an MMA org to put out there.

A guy almost died who shouldn't even be on that stage in one of the most embarrassing fights ever. That could've been the biggest black eye on MMA and set the sport back years.

You should probably know what you're talking about making statements like this.......

Bellator had solid ratings for the next year and a half after the kimbo vs dada fight they didnt see a real decline in numbers until the switch from SPIKE to paramount but also every mma org at this time seen an average decrease in viewers as well.

Since signing the DAZN deal anyone who has DAZN watches it there nit in paramount so the viewers on paramount arent as crucial as they once were.

Add to that the attention is now directed to neglected markets not the US anymore.

I'd recommend doing research or generally knowing what you're talking about instead of just blurting completely inaccurate shit lmfao.

Was never better under rebney

He did a great job building a foundation for the org and the tournaments were good for a few seasons but literally nothing he did was better.

Coker has put on better tournaments, with better quality of fighters, and bellator is profitable for the first time in its entire existence thanks to coker.

Careful! @FKA was the guy to sign DADA and the Beef Plant guy! He lurks here from time to time!

How's your mobile sign business going Todd??lmfao

Todd why dont u get your fighter tag on your account???

Stop the bs narrative that Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000 did better than most UFC cards. Certain Sherdoggers are just complete morons. Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000 drew 2.5 million viewers. Paige VanZant vs Michelle Waterson drew over 4 million viewers for the UFC. Spewing bs rhetoric is what certain idiot Sherdoggers do. UFC Fight Night 59 drew over 2.7 million viewers. Kimbo Slice was simply outside the normal. Bellator did not build him, Kimbo Slice built himself through YouTube.

Wrong! UFC has done one off freakshow type fights spread out over years, Toney vs Couture in 2010, then CM Punk vs Gall in 2016, CM Punk vs Jackson in 2018. Three not your normal high quality fights in 8 years. Coker has been in charge of Bellator for five years and we've had plenty of WTH type low quality MMA fights. It's d_m near a regularity in Coker's Bellator. Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000, Kimbo Slice vs Ken Shamrock, Royce Gracie vs Ken Shamrock, and then we have the Frank Mir, Wanderlei Silva, any MVP vs any can fights hahaha hahaha hahaha. And the usual squash matches on every card. And now, in 2019, 5 years after being named Bellator's President, June 20, 2014, Coker is offering up Antonio McKee, listed as 49 years of age vs William Sriyapai, listed as 47 years of age.

That's because Antonio McKee begged Coker to give him one more fight against someone his own age, dope. McKee talked about this extensively on his podcast.

Also Antonio and his son wanted to make history by both fighting on the same card as they both talked about that in interviews as well.

What's worse Antonio McKee vs a guy his own age or bj Penn fighting much younger guys in the ufc?

Well, will you look at this. A profile who started the name calling by typing in the word "dope" directed at me. You'll probably cry and run to the group administrator if I typed a insult back at you because you're a sensitive little snowflake. Your point got destroyed and then you try to change the goalposts. Well, that ain't working. Coker still doing Freakshow fights in 2019, 5 years after being in charged of Bellator by having a 49 year old fighting a 47 year old in a upcoming card. Coker could not stop with Royce Gracie vs Ken Shamrock or Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000, no. Coker's still at it in 2019 with 49 year old Antonio McKee vs 47 year old William Sriyapai. The gimmicks just keep coming with Coker's Bellator.

They used those fights purely for exposure be it good or bad.

Nowadays their freakshow fights center around pro wrasslers I fully believe Coker in his comments lose is likely cut.

The dada vs kimbo and Gracie vs shamrock fights were in the same card 3 nearly 4 years ago.......as shitty as it was it indeed was in the past.
It's only in the past until he does it again, plenty more UFC fighters are going to age out each year

And hit the UFC waiver wire er the Bellator Scouting Department and be having their past their prime ex-UFC fighters fights in Bellator hahaha hahaha hahaha.

Funny, "embarrassing shit" like CM Punk on UFC PPV main cards twice, once against Michael "The Truth" Jackson didn't "leave a bad taste" and wasn't a "god awful representation" for the UFC somehow, despite the fact that Dada and Kimbo would both beat him like a pinata in a fight.

Nor was something like Sean Gannon (remember him?) a horrible representation of the UFC back in the day, and this was when the UFC would only hold 6 events the whole year.

The hypocrisy of hardcore UFC shills is always funny. Does WME at least cut you guys a check, or are you unpaid interns?

I am actually finding myself enjoying Bellator events more and more compared to UFC events as of recentlly.
