"We haven't had any talks with Fedor and his people," said Coker, who promoted four fights with Emelianenko when he ran the Strikeforce promotion.

Coker gave the impression that isn't a direction he's looking at going, noting Emelianenko's price tag may not make sense for Bellator as a pure television product. He also noted Emelianenko went 1-3 in Strikeforce, and that it would be a difficult deal to put together."

Did Bellator see UFC's offer and decide to not even offer?

As long as he's still with Finkledouche then he won't be going to the UFC. See you in OneFC Fedor!

I like Coker for that. He doesn't play stupid games.

I did read a report about how UFC had a more lucrative offer though? Bellator was also mentioned. So not sure what is up with that.

pretty much, I guess Onefc or WSOF but who would he fight?

Please just let him sign with the Ufc and rematch Crocop or Hunt and with a win get a title shot

Call it a hunch, but I think we will be getting some (very) good news this week.

No, I doubt that he saw UFC's offer...he just remembers what it was like negotiating with Fedor and his camp.

It's going to be even tougher now that he had the 1-3 stretch. His team isn't just going to ask for less money, yet the fighter isn't as "hot" or "mythical" as before. That aura demanded a price. Period. The lesser aura doesn't command that same price anymore...whether it's right or wrong.

Coker at this point only cares about the freakshow fights that can pull ratings. Fedor doesn't pull any ratings and is hella expensive as a TV-only product. Why waste money on him when Kimbo vs. Herschel Walker can pull way more ratings.

Trust me, Bellator wanted Fedor. Coker probably knows the UFC is out bidding them and now coker is acting like its no big deal to not get Fedor..

    My guess anyway

UFC is the only co. that can afford him.

Lets see him win a fight in the UFC before everybody goes all crazy. 2008 was a long time ago.

Wasn't it Coker that stated that Fedor cost them tons of money and basically wasn't a return on their investment? Or was it Rebny?

6 months ago, Coker said that Viacom would put up the money to get Brock or anybody worth it.

I guess Coker learned his lesson (with Fedor)

Also if any of this is true, than Fedor is getting a nice awakening regarding his worth.
Without Bellator driving up the price, it is UFC's game

Fedor will be signing with the UFC. I am going full shertard white belt here and proclaiming it as a 100% for sure thing.

    Why?

Arovloski/Mir and Miocic/Rothwell all but confirm it.

But Dana said thet Werdum/Velasquez was next? 95% of what comes out of Danas mouth is a lie or a misdirection. In this case, Dana knows that there is always a chance Fedor gets weird and decides to go fight for OneFC or WSOF so Cain is the back up plan. He reads these boards, he knows NO ONE wants to see this rematch immediately.

Werdum/Fedor to headline the Super Bowl Card. Book it.
