I mean if it happens it happens. Like you said he was the PRIDE HW champion. The consensus best fighter in the world for the better part of a decade. My GOAT, IDK about yourself. The fact he lost twice to Ryan Bader doesn't change that, but if he beats him it's a pretty incredible capstone to a pretty incredible career.

    I say bring it on.

The problem is that Lesnar hasn't ever appeared to be close to signing a deal with Bellator. There is likely some sort of exclusivity deal with Lesnar and WWE that would forbid him from doing any sort of MMA . Lesnar resigned for 18 months apparently, so that kills off any sort of match up between the two.

    Lesnar's MMA days are done.

Big foot was going to do bare knuckle recently. If he wants to get a payday for a rematch, that would be up to him, chinless or not.

It doesn't appear that Silva is even on the radar anyhow.

I guess the big difference between those fighters and Bellator is that they had an ok record, Kenan had around 12-2 before UFC debut.

In Bellator we can see fighters with horrible records like 2-4 or something like that.

    Please do your research.

Do my research? Jackson was 0-1 as an amateur and 0-0 as a pro and he got signed with UFC lmao. You said UFC never signs fighters on losing streak and i gave you quickly some examples. There are more, I didn't even wanted to give wmma examples where there are 11-11 fighters active on their roster lmao

Those kinds of things are true legacy cementers. Years from now, people will say he was such a great fighter that at age 45 he was still making waves. Think Sugar Ray Robinson... his longevity added to an already stellar record even tho' he had a few more ups and down in later years.

    A "light roast"? For Fedor?

Geez. Let it go, old legend. You're hurting your health and legacy with this stuff.

He is 9-2 in the last decade, made it to the finals of the HW tournament, beat some other legends, and just KO'd the #2 HW in Bellator. Not bad for a 45 year old.

Not so much in the typical roast sense. But just a celebration of his career. Maybe bring in a few important MMA figures and people important to him to speak.

All of that seems more fitting than taking a risk of being KO cold in your retirement night.

I would have liked to see him vs Machida or Anderson before retirement

Not sure why anyone would want to see Fedor fight smaller guys or guys that were middle weights. Every time Fedor has had trouble is with smaller guys who can out-speed him. He's best fighting guys that are bigger than him where he has the speed advantage.

I want to see the Bader match. He might lose again but Bader's is on a decline and Fedor has a real chance. Winning the title in his retirement would be the ultimate career capper.

Anderson is bigger than Fedor. Hes been looking jacked as hell lately. I see your point though.
