    Probably this. I wanted to see him for there and start with Volkov. I guess this almost guarantees the UFC, hope they start him slow around the level of Shawn Jordan instead of just dumping him into the deep end

    I don't think it's that Bellator can't afford him. They could. Viacom is much larger corporation than the UFC.

    I think this is more about Fedor wanting to avenge his loss to Werdum.

    Viacom/Spike wants a return on investment and you can't get that with Fedor or any big UFC star. Makes no business sense to even try.
