If anyone gives cormier anything other than round 2 I can see why there's terrible decisions sometimes

 

I can guarantee the judges are never as drunk as I was during the fights.

I actually leaned towards a 10-10 for the 3rd round because I honestly couldn't decide, but if you put a gun to my head I would have went with Cormier in the 2nd and 3rd.

DC narrowed out the first round and then lost all the rest with the 3rd round going either way but because JBJ is champ he gets default.

DC fought very very very stupid...in the 4th and 5th round. He was probably gassed like never before but it is what it is.

3 was a close round....gave it to Cormier.....but could have gone either way. 3 to 2 or 4 to 1 for Jones....happy with either.

 

Not really an interesting fight to score. Jones took all rounds except for 2

 

I thought 2 and 3 could have gone either way, literally you could give Jones both (resulting in a somewhat ridiculous 50-45) or you could have given 2 and 3 to DC which strangely would have made the fight even going into the 5th, when Rogan and supposedly DC's corner were saying DC had to finish to win (which turned out to be true)


MMA judging is such a mess. The way I prefer is simply "Who won that fight?"


judging the entire fight I give it to Jones. Round by round, Jones had 1,4,5 for sure 2,3 could have gone to DC

EDIT: didn't realize you could pick both otherwise I would have picked both for round 3 (but oven DC round 2)

It took all Cormier had to make the 3rd competitive and he was done after that. Shame he didn't have it in him.

 

Whoever gives round 2 to Jones or 4 to Cormier should be banned. There are 7 so far. BAN HAMMER!!!

Round 2 and 3 were close.

 

1st for Jones, 2nd for Cormier, 3rd barely for Cormier, 4th for Jones and 5th barely for Jones. 10-10s are arguable for rounds 3 and 5.

 

Jones 1,4,5 although very little happened in the last 1 1/2 rounds. 3 was a draw imo. Wasn't a domination and certainly wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be.
