Scooters

I love them. You can cover way more ground and see more than you can walking, but without having to deal with the drawbacks of driving (having to find parking, not being able to stop anywhere you want).

Don't you need a license for those or something? I don't want to deal with car infrastructure and think those need to drive on the street?

Why do jerks just leave them blocking the footpaths, doorways, etc. They just rent them for an hour, ride them at high speeds around pedestrians and leave them wherever the fuck they want. They are too much of a pussy to ride them at 50km/hr on the road so use the footpath instead.

Electric scooters are pretty fun to ride if the city is equipped to handle it and the weather is warm. I been to motorbike hell in Vietnam and that shit is insanity. Those people need to get rid of their scooters.
 
In my city I think they are about the last thing we need. We already have enough in the way of traffic to worry about. Add in scooters and all the idiots too dumb to get a car license and how we already have homeless overruning and jaywalking, as well as busses, bikes, joggers. I just think it's stupid. There should be a limited number of means of transportation and predictably, we have been having and will be having cases or road rage and accidents between scooter drivers and car drivers. They've also added extra lanes to streets and it's crazy, everyone is entitled, you cannot run a city when everyone thinks they run everything.

The recent scooter incident, the scooter driver had some sort of arguement with a driver and caught up to him and shot him, just dumb shit like that and more will be happening. And.., we already have a lot of deaths just from homeless jaywalkers/people too stupid or high to watch out for cars, bikes, joggers. Also, from what I'm hearing, guns have increased a lot since the pandemic. Even the bums here commonly have guns.

Mayor is trying to turn things around but I don't know. Just too many people really.

that's what I'm trying to say, these guys will go anywhere and get pissed off at anyone in their way, it's stupid. I don't want to kill someone accidentally that bolts in front of me, and no matter how careful you are, yes, that can happen and the more bullshit like this, the more likely stuff like that will happen. I just deduce that the system does not give a shit about any of us when I see foolishness like this. I've seen a lot of bums, who can't do a single thing responsibly and here they are driving with vehicles on something that looks like it goes about 25 mph.
