I have watched quite a lot of horror movies, but none have really scared me, the Insidious trilogy were pretty farfetched- but enjoyable to watch, but were not scary, barring a few jump scares with loud dynamic music, same with The Conjuring, Sinister etc, I even watched the Boy, that shit was hilarious lol.

So what movies have really scared you?

The last time I was scared while watching a movie was the first time they show the alien in Signs. That was about 15 years ago so obviously none recently.

It was a miniseries that was on television over a week ago. It was called the 2016 Republican National Convention.

It Follows was kind of creepy. Not really scary but definitely off putting.

Really enjoyed the Conjuring movies. Fun scary. The original Paranormal had spooky scenes. The Visit was cool. The Babadook and It Follows had scares as well.

    Scared? None tbh.

Made me feel a bit uneasy during some scenes? The Witch.

I found the Democrat remake just a week later to be a lot scarier tbh. Much better villain at the end of that one.

I don't really watch horror movies all that much. I watched The Hunt awhile back, which was really scary in a different way.

Ghostbusters but not for the desired reasons.

I'm in general very tired of cheap scare tactics with loud music and less attractive entities hiding behind things.

So I would have to go back to the original of Funny Games. It made me feel uneasy to say the least.

I thought the movie inside had its moment when the stranger wanted to do bad things to a pregnant lady.

Sinister 1 & 2 were very creepy. Very well done too... Really liked how they tied to two in together. The dude appearing behind the crib was the scariest part to me

The Black Samuel/Satan scene at the end also made me feel a bit uneasy.

I am afraid of Korean children so naturally I've avoided horror movies the past decade or so.

    Really?

I can't get more than 20 mins into that shit before I shut it off. The kid screaming drives me nuts.
