The west cant win.
Remove Iran military and nuke ability and then that is a costly war. And even then the Saudis may still want nukes from their BF Pakistan.
Or
Dont remove the Iranian threat and Saudis get nukes to counter Iran anyways. By all means Iran surely has enough material to build low grade nuclear weapons. However, they surely struggle on adequate delivery vehicles and higher yield weapons.
""
audi Arabia reserves the right to arm itself with nuclear weapons if Riyadh's arch-rival, Iran cannot be stopped from making one, the kingdom's minister of state for foreign affairs said.
"It's definitely an option," Adel al-Jubeir told the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) in a recent interview. If Iran becomes a nuclear power, he said, more countries would follow suit.
"And Saudi Arabia has made it very clear, that it will do everything it can to protect its people and to protect its territories," al-Jubeir added.
Tehran has been working on the use of nuclear power for decades and in 2015 signed a nuclear deal with world powers to stop the development of a bomb in exchange for lifting sanctions.""
