She is fighting at DEEP 69 IMPACT (that sounds so dirty, lol) on October 31st.
All 4ft 10in and 93 lbs of her.
She hasn't fought in 6 years and is now 37.

She disappeared from WMMA when she got married and had a baby.
But she basically said it's now or never in terms of returning to MMA.

My favorite fighter of all time. I would go up and watch her fight, but I`ll be in Tokyo the weekend before her fight...and two consecutive trips there is bank-breaking. I hope it`s not a one-and-done kind of thing. If she fights in October and does well, she may fight again in December...and I`d make a trip up for that!

On a side note: yeah! What the hell is up with "DEEP 69 IMPACT"? :icon_lol: Horrible name for an MMA event featuring Princess.

Wait is this the former 105 lbs champion? She was awesome. There wasnt much 105 competition at the time but she was still dominant. Hopefully she can get back on track.

Wondering when they will announce who she's fighting, probably not a big name since it's her return fight but still its only 3 weeks out and the rest of the card is complete.
Glad to see her back though, one of my all time faves.

I kind of want to see Hisae back but I'm not sure.

Would be cool to see her and Shinashi finish their trilogy. I can't remember, did Hisae ever officially retire? I know she took time off but was planning to return before getting injured, that was years ago though. If I recall correctly she had an exhibition though for Omuro's retirement at one of the final JEWELS before the rebranding.

Hisae has been away from MMA for a while. Her comeback was more kickboxing/muay thai/shootboxing...and IIRC, she got starched and decided to give up fighting altogether.

But yeah, a Hisae vs. Satoko rematch/rubber match would be kind of epic. Especially since their wins over each other were so absolute and crushing. Both were great fighters in their primes. I liked Hisae because he made striking more appealing for Japanese and Korean fighters fighting in Japan. Before her, women`s MMA in Japan was basically judo with some wrestling and punching thrown in. When other fighters saw her KOing people, they started to take their standing games more seriously (especially when she KOed Shinashi). But, Satoko was also a big influence on fighters here. She was just so dominant and had such a ring presence.

I wish Hisae comes back too and ends her again. I can't stand Shinashi, bro.
