for those of u who know about making your own sandbag or medicine ball u gota help me in this. For those of u who dont know...check out rossboxing.com its all there.. but anyways : i was just wondering if theres an alternative for the zip lock bags or the contractor bag coz i cant seem to find it anywhere: Home depot etc. (i live outside US). I find the normal ziplock bags but theyr never strong enough. The only contractor bag i can find is those normal ttrash bags but i dont think theyll hold. So yea..wat do u recommend?the only ziplock bags i can find are the ones for food... yes i went to hardware stores..but the country i am in right now is crap..we have all these..malls...bars..beachers...etc. but we dotn have these simple stuff..so yea.l.anways.. the ones i can find is ziploc storage bag..and ziploc freezer bag www.ziploc.com/ about the medicine ball...if i were to buy wat size..wat size SHOULD i get? is 10lbs enough>.? i read i should get between 8-12lbs...i fiugre go for 10lbs..but wat about the 25?should i get that EVEN though im already making a sandbag?
I use 'rubble sacks' which are too large really but they seem plenty tough enough as I d had same problems as you have with zip lock bags bursting even with duck tape.
ironmind.com sells bags just for this purpose. They're expensive as hell, but it's an option. Also, you could try this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Bundle-of-25-em...ryZ10554QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Good luck.
Cheers for that at least it gives me an idea what to replace my old bags with.Shame i'll need to look over here but I know what to look for now rather than just guess or have them bursting again all over me.
Thanks for that post ,I just went on ebay over in the UK and found the same thing and ordered me some.Seems a better way than sand bursts over my head.TA mate.
well i dont htink it would be a good idea if i was to buy online..coz a. no credit card. b. i live outside the US..so its gona be a bit hassle. Again the best thing i can find is the freezer ziploc bag for food...do u think two of these will hold? i tried looking for contractor bags in MC home depot..ace hardware..etc. but still none..
well..ive decided jst try it anyway...so i got those ziploc freezer bags..im just going to double them up..and i figure..ok..lets say it DOES break...its still ok coz theres going to be a laundry bag+ a canvas bag....my question now though is..around how many kg should one ziploc bag weight..thanks
