Sam Nunberg, a former aide to Donald Trump quotes Conor McGregor

And we give a shit about Drumpf's former aide because why?

He’s a Conor fan just like the rest of us?

Well, that is pretty interesting i suppose.

They're people too yenno, i thought they were all too narcissistic to be inspired by anyone though.

It’s incredible seeing as he is not even the best fighter in his division. I do agree that he is a huge reality TV superstar, just like the Kardashian’s.

In my experience, most martial artists / athletes I've encountered are fans of him. Most UFC fighters are fans of his and respect him highly, regardless of what Is said In the media. Most analysts and MMA minds in general respect him highly.

Generally, It is the keyboard warriors / trolls of the internet that make up the bulk of the haters. Same can be said In many other cases Involving other athletes / celebrities / popular figures as well.

That's not to say that the critiques / some of the hate isn't valid In it's own way..just that It's clear who's doing the hating for the most part.

Many of the haters just want to see him fight / defend and are tired of the bullshit, nothing more. Which is understandable. A good percentage were probably haters from the beginning and will likely continue to hate no matter what happens.

I truly do think that if you don't respect Conor though or can even gain something from his skillset / trajectory as a martial artist and star..then It probably says more about you than anything.

And they feel the need to bring their negativity and bitterness into any thread that is marginally associated with McGregor. They also seem to be the same ones who say things like Drumpf so I actually do think part of it comes from envy of successful people driven by their own failures and insecurities.

Here's a guy who is exciting outside the cage, builds up huge fights we all want to see, brings big interest and money into the sport that we love, and get this - he actually puts on exciting fights and knocks people out. And people STILL hate on him.

generally how It works, for sure. Whether with Conor or any other prominent figure.

When you have a successful, confident person, there will generally be a lot of people unconsciously projecting their insecurities and inner dissatisfaction with their own lives.
