Just what the title says. What do you guys use on your salads? Low Fat? Flavor? Dosen't matter?

I find the South Beach Diet Italian to have a good taste. Only 2g of sugar per serving also.

Ingredients
Water, Vinegar, Vegetable Oil (Canola Oil and Extra Virgin Oil), Sugar, Salt, Contains Less than 2% of Minced Garlic (Dried), Red Bell Peppers (Dried), Carrots (Dried), Black Pepper, Xanthan Gum, Onions (Dried), Potassium Sorbate, Calcium Disodium EDTA, and Sulfiting Agents as Preservatives.

Walden Farms Calorie Free Dressings. They taste pretty good and have a miniscule amount of calories.

I use that and their red wine vinagrette. I wish they made more dressing.

Its made by kraft btw. Sometimes I use balsamic vinegar alone.

What about when you go out? to like saladworks or a resturant?

Almost without fail, anything at a restaurant is going to be high in fat and possibly high in carbs. If you stick to house italian, oil and vinegar, or something that isn't sweet or creamy you will be better off. Saladworks, we don't have that where I am, but the same crap applies. I would think a place like saladworks would have their Nutritional Facts available either on the web or in the store. I am assuming its a fast food place.

I looked at their site map, I was suprised to see no nutrition info. You'd be amazed how bad some of those salads are for you.

I learned this from a nutty obsessive-complusive model I dated a few years back. I sure as hell don't do this, because I could care less about calories, but it's a neat trick that's stuck in my mind.

Get your dressing on the side, jab your fork in the dressing, and then grab your salad with said fork. You'll use a miniscule amount of dressing, but you'll get the flavor of it with every bite.

Can't say I eat too many salads, mainly good frozen vegetables with a small amount of some Asian sauce like peanut satay or black bean sauce.

I was looking on the calorie counter website and it shows the nutritional information for most dressings at fast food restaurants. Surprisingly enough even the Fat-Free ones they offer received a C or D rating. Be warned....

The absolute best dressing: olive oil+lemon juice.
