The guy is an athlete, but he certainly is not a fighter. Tapping so quickly against that shitty arm triangle and not so tight RNC is pathetic for anyone who calls themselves an ufc fighter.

The guy is a quitter whenever he is in any kind of trouble

Champ? People where actually saying that? Based off of what?

Conor tapped to Nate Diaz and then turned his face into a hamburger.

Just sayin'.

Dont talk shit about Sage you goof. He's taking that title, and he's gonna bang your girl too.

The guy is a full time student getting trained primarily from his day. He is 20 years old.

If he wants to get serious and become a full time fighter and get a serious team, he can do great things in this sport.

Will he do it? probably not. But the potential is there.

"will never be in the top 20 or even a contender let alone champ"

fixed it

Sage looks great until he faces any sort of adversity then immediately folds.

I assume this will never change and he will never be a big star because of this.

Agree... unless he leaves his dad as coach.

Quite frankly he needs to be taken under jon jones wing. Let the man show whats life really about to the kid.

Then maybe, well have a reborn "dark place" sage....

A stiff breeze makes a Diaz bleed, pfft. However, Sage is very young and has good potential. I don't care for the UFC's chosen few, of which Sage belongs, getting preferential treatment but he's got time on his side.

Dude is 20 and is already in the fire. People care about him. He is a hard worker. Think it is crazy not to assume he will not get better. He is so young, already in a position that most fighters would not normally be in.

Hate on him if you want, he will get better. If he trains with the Diaz's for real? That will help in BJJ and toughness both his two biggest weaknesses.

the best thing for him would be to get cut & have to work his way up in smaller organizations, he needs to stay at 155 & lose some muscle mass, he's going to have conditioning & chin issues coming into fights with such a low body fat percentage, it's just not practical for combat sports.. join a real gym & work smaller shows for 2-3 years

Dont be daft, Hes only 19...........+1 so he has plenty of time to improve and is nowhere near his peak yet so to say never is just stupid.

He needs a serious and real camp...not his dad. If he doesn't change that, he will be stuck in the rut and get cut from the UFC. Just a prediction but I think he is already getting stale with pops at the helm. Dear dad needs to check the ego at the door and let his boy expand his wings. Fly little birdie...fly!

If he wants to be a fighter, he needs to commit now. You can always go back and finish school. Your window for your athletic prime, however, is finite and fleeting.

To be honest it's way too early for us to be talking about Sage one way of the other. He's 20 years old and really should still be fighting amateur. The kid is getting to carry out his amateur career in the UFC so who knows what he'll be like in 5 years.
