Learning takedown defense would probably do him better.
So is the guy who just violated him, unfortunately.
He needs to move back to Legacy.
A little jiu jitsu wouldn't hurt either lol.
Yup, two words: hand fight.
Sage is so young how long can he fight at 155 before his body forces him to move up?
He makes more than veterans do. Continue the hate.....
He should stick to Karate tournaments, or gymnastics or male modeling, or WWE, the fight game is dangerous, and this isnt gonna cut it.
Its fine if you are winning and but not good when...
I think he moved up to the big leagues too fast. He should either go back to the smaller shows or take a long time off and train more wrestling and jiu jitsu. On the ground he looked like the average blue belt. With his physical ability and youth he can get to a high level fast. But right now the technique isn't where it needs to be. The kid is barely 20, I wouldn't write him off yet.
He was doing fine until he got tagged. He folds under pressure which is kind of sad to see.
He was winning the standup then went for a panic takedown. Damn you panic wrestling.
Sage just isn't a fighter. He's an athlete. He gets clipped once and it's game over. He hates getting hit, he doesn't train with anyone good(fighters or coaches), and he can't decide on a weight class.
