I've posted about having limited time before, I can usually get in the gym 2 or 3 days a week, so my question is, can I do cardio after powerlifting? Will it impair my strength development? I don't care much about gaining weight or anything like that, I just want to have strenght and some stamina (strength is more important to me though). Any opinions appreciated. Scott

It depends on how much and what kind of conditioning stuff you want to do. For instance, if you were planning on doing heavy squats, deadlifts, etc, then going to the track for an intense HIIT workout, I'd say it would be smart to separate them.

what about doing distance stuff after heavy lifting/squats, deads, etc. ?

It is'nt ideal but if you're pressed for time you can get away with it. I used to go to my judo team training session immediately after benching, was difficult but it worked.

You an do HIIT, complexes, Tabata mehotd or a Cf WOD after powerlifting provided you eat right and get enough rest

I like what these folks have to say.

Sure you can do cardio, but you're better off doing the complexes or anything but the CuntFit that BabyPhenom mentioned.

Long duration, low intensity cardio has a very limited place in the routine of most athletes IMO.

Keep the cardio sessions short and intense and you'll be good.
