Ballsy move by Munhoz. Hope they can make this happen.

Would be nice to see Hall get a fight and see how he’s improved.

    Finally...

It's almost like the UFC felt they couldn't market Hall so they were trying to stifle his csrrer at one point... But Dana would never do something like that.

I almost forgot about Ryan Hall. seems like no one at 145 wants to get knee barred inside the first 2 minutes.

I know his fighting style isn't appealing to a lot of people but I enjoy his cerebral approach to martial arts and he clearly takes his time between fights as a growing period. Obviously Hall will have a size advantage here, but Munhoz has never been finished and the fights I've seen him in have always been aggressive so I think this will be a good one.

Agreed but BW seems to be a clusterfuck right now and FW is full of people who think they're deserving of a title shot or a contender. Hall isn't a heavy hitter so it'll be interesting to see his offense against a guy who doesn't just stand there and take damage like The Damage.

I feel like PEDro slaughters Hall and I'm surprised at the posts so far, maybe I'm crazy....

It depends on whether the speed discrepancy is very apparent. If there's not much difference, I could see Hall outpointing Pedro on the feet by keeping him at distance. Close fight though, and I don't know how the hell it would unfold on the mat, but I have to lean towards Ryan there.

Pedro packs a mean punch and is extremely aggressive, so who knows.

Munhoz is a much, much tougher opponent than anyone Hall has faced in the UFC so far. Great fight.

He trains outta Tri-star so I’m sure he is improving all aspects of his game. He has some pretty slick kicks already and is of course The Wizard when it comes to BJJ. Just needs more time in the cage.

What kind of size advantage? Halls in cage weight is like 156lbs. He's a tiny featherweight. He'll definitely be longer than munhoz, though.

Munhoz on the other hand weighed 151lb s after cutting to BW. He'd likely be even bigger at FW

These are two of my favorite fighters. Hall really must be desperate, though. He spent the week challenging Aldo and Edgar. Munhoz is one of the most underrated guys out there, but he's never headlined or even co-headlined an event. Hall is 4-0- all against guys who have. This is just the last thing I'd expect, especially considering the weight.

Ah I didn't realize he was that small. I knew he did the LW tourney of TUF out of necessity but he didn't look undersized in the house to me besides against some of the bigger LWs but in that case, it's an even better match-up stylistically.

So basically BW is so held up by CCC that Munhoz is taking a fight at FW
