He already shot himself in the foot by his own words basiclly saying rashad is a washed up shell of himself coming in with ring rust and nagging injuries. Not very smart things to say regardless of how true they are if you're looking to make a statement. That's about as much of a statement as beating ken shamrock at this point.
Bader's standup is finally somewhat progressing now that PowerMMA has an actual boxing coach, and his wrestling is always top notch.
Bader's power and cardio, combined with Rashad coming off multiple surgeries and a 2 year layoff, its not inconceivable that Bader could land a big shot on Rashad.
when was the last time Bader finished someone?
Gotta give it to Bader, he's got balls for saying he's gonna KO Evans.
At that point, he'd earn a shot at the belt.
But Machida is the only one to ever KO Evans, and Bader is not even close to Machida in striking.
bader wants to be the wiedman of the lhw... but bader is the bader of the lhw...
Tall order. I don't think he'll come close.
Rashad is too quick and his footwork is too good. Bader is going to have to edge this one out.
He may very well win a lackluster fight between the two but I can't see him finishing Rashad anywhere, even with the long lay off and ring rust.
I don't know why, but I believe him, yo
Rashad had trouble with Dan Henderson in 2013. Ryan Bader is atleast slightly better right now than Dan was in 2013 imo.
Ya ok Bader don't you have a shit you need to finish or a sandwich you should finish eating? Dude couldn't finish half a glass of water and hes talking about stopping Rashad?
Bader cant finish Evans by trying to hold him and dry hump him.
I predict a shitfest where both guys gunshy, trying and failing to outwrestle each other.
This picture always makes me HHAAAAAHAHAHHAHAAH:icon_chee.But considering that Rashads been injured for god knows how long,Bader can win this.
Or this happens again...
& we all saw what happened when he fought Tito...
Bader is good. He's top 10 for sure but i feel like he'll never be top 5. But this is his chance for a title shot given the weak state of the LHW division
Yes and I loved every second of it. I hope he comes in underestimating rashad. I think he's already doing that.
