I guess that's the best move to make right now. Thompson looked like a beast today, I would love to see him stand and bang with Lawler. They're both on the top of their games right now. UFC 200 is the best card to put it on.

Lawler is one of my favorite fighters, but I think Thompson is one of the few guys that could finish him with strikes, so I think he might even get a (T)KO win.

What do you guys think? Who takes it?

Lawler is great, but too hittable.

Lawler won't back down like Hendricks. He'll be willing to take one to give one.

Wonderboy's accuracy and timing will be the death of Robert Glenn Lawler II.

I think Robbie loves to stand and trade and I don't think that's a good idea against Wonderboy and I think Robbie's luck finally runs out.

Lawler throws away rounds and gets hit a lot. He comes alive in round 5 as "Final Round Robbie" but I don't see him surviving that long. I like Robbie but he's had a LOT of luck lately. He's been losing every fight since being champion before pulling it off at the end. His chin is taking more and more damage and I think it would finally crumble against Thompson.

I've always been a fan of Lawler, but i genuinely have a hard time imagining his style matching up well against Wonderboy's

It's 50/50 but I'd go with the champ. If Lawler drops Thompson like Ellenberger did it's over.

I've learned to never count out Lawler. He's a monster right now and has some great momentum going for himself.

It's one of the best matches I can think of right now to put on UFC 200. It would be a huge mistake to not make it happen.

IDK, I'm a huge Lawler fan and he's been outmatched before (see his fight vs. Manhoef), but pulled it off... I can't pick against him. I recognize how amazing Wonderboy looked tonight though. That was some shit that Anderson Silva couldn't even do.

Tyrion Woodley (son of Tywin) is next.

Woodley is going to kill someone over this thread. How bout Thompson vs McDonald for next title shot and Woodley vs lawler for title at same event. maia gets screwed if he beats brown and turns 40 before a title shot.

Sherdog has such a short memory. Thompson got rocked by Ellenberger in his last fight. Lawler would have finished him. Beating gun shy Hendricks doesn't make him a world beater. Lawler by KO with the first power punch he lands.

I'm far more interested in Wonderboy versus the Red king. I hope it becomes a title eliminator for the next shot at the champ.

Wonderboy destroyed the former champ in a round, Hendricks arguably beat Lawler 2nd time and GSP, this trumps everything Woodley and Rory have done.
