Anybody else concerned about Russian Fighters doing barrel rolls over American spy planes and our response or lack thereof?

It may sound silly but if the Russians are this provocative with the US and there are no repercussions, then who in the Baltic states or Europe will stand up to them.
 
Im not military but as far as i know this is fairly routine stuff. If they were a few hundred miles off of the coast of cali i would expect us to do the same

Russia and the Us are too scared to go to war with each other. A plane may get shot down from one side or the other at most, and peace talks will ensue instantly. Nobody wants conflict between these super powers. It's not conducive. The us would likely eradicate the russian while the russians take out everything as they falter. Lose lose. Putin understands this.
 
Not really. Putin is just trying to show his people he's an alpha. He knows he'd get rekt in a real fight.

If they keep fucking around there might be an "accident," though. And laughs will be had.

Its just some russian fly boys playing top gun. They didnt come in hot they came in doing tricks.

Its my understanding that this isnt uncommon and its more of a " I see ya buddy" than an act of war. Id bet money that our boys do things like this from time to time as well.

Yes, we need SJWs to tell the Russians that they need to respect our safe space and keep their microaggression and Slavic privilege in check. Putin would be so speechless that he would back off in Ukraine and Syria.
 
russians have always been like this. even when their country collapsed they found the time to fuck with people. it's just what russians enjoy doing.
 
I think we need honest dialogue. Russia is fine by me. We have been over THERE screwing around since the Cold War ended. The Ukrainians that overthrew the government, the pro west ones? THEY were the separatists. Crimea has always wanted to get back with Russia, FACT. I'm not going to teach my kids to dislike Russia because of outdated and BS US propaganda. Russia has some personal issues it needs to work out, and I side with America over anybody when it matters up to this point, but the Ukraine propaganda was one-sided crap. America complaining about Russian planes flying around Russia is crap.
 
Trying to take away their naval bases and putting missile shields next to them doesn't help.
 
I'm more concerned with their actual aggression, not their dress up play aggression. They invade a sovereign country, no big deal. They fly too close to one of our pilots, by god they must be stopped!
