Kind of weird he gave up on the same BS he was posting before as his wishes of a UKR defeat didnt pan out because most of it ended up not coming true or flat out BS....But after Trump got elected the planks came back out thinking Trump is going to hand UKR to Putin but i think many will be disappointed as he might even be better for UKR..

Only way he's better is if he gets something out of it. I wouldn't hold my breath the guy with Russian Mafia ties is going to support Ukraine

I can understand why Russian soldiers end up taking out their commanders after such treatment....

Is this type of stuff common in the US military? Will the commanders drop slurs with their troops or no? Probably much less common these days?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Getting caught using ANY slur in the U.S. military is a career-killer. You might as well resign right then and there (at least in my USAF experiences). The U.S. military is built on being 100% professional. Non-hackers and good ol' boys, need not apply.

Back in the day...
A Russian commander was given a tour of a U.S. military base, and they took him to one of the Enlisted professional military classes there. They explained that they were teaching the lower ranking troops classes on military professionalism and general education.

The commander asked "How can you waste money on teaching the lower enlisted ANYTHING?!? These funds can go to the officers corps." The commandant of the school said "That's how we had the advantage over the Soviet Union during the cold war. We made our troops professionals, and you made yours cannon fodder."

I know you served a while back so I was bracing for some horror stories.

It's also a problem for the Russians now because they practically need a general at the front to make some basic decisions...

That's a SCARY thought. Russia has no NCO corps. As a Senior NCO, my duty was to manage the Enlisted and advise my officer and yes the line "I thought you were my mother" came up many, many times in my 24-year career. If the Officer went down, I stepped up, if I went down, the next enlisted person stepped up. This is why education is so, so important.
